Except many are red meat conservative Trump supporters who have given up on California. I am thinking of moving to Texas and believe me, I will always vote MAGA.
There are three counties in California that make it a blue state. Without them we would be a deep patriotic red.
I'm in California and trying very hard to move to Florida. Texas is great and I was born there and have family and friends there, but the diving is better in Florida. I need my ocean.
Amen. We’re moving to Texas and are a little nervous about anyone knowing we came from California because of this mentality. Been a staunch conservative my whole adult life (took time to see how indoctrinated I was as a child) and will continue to be.
I’m excited for the move but it makes me sad that I may face similar treatment (although likely to a lesser degree) in Texas for being a native Californian as I do in California for being a conservative. Part of why we’re moving I’d because we’re tired of having to hide who we are for people to accept us.
