The same push broom that you use to chase off leaves will work well on soft dry snow. It'll take awhile but so would a snow shovel.

Take it in stages. Rest in between.

Yes — a broom works great.

I use one for my porches and steps.

Also you don’t have to clear a super wide path — just enough for two boots side by side.

And, if you don’t have any ice melt — table salt (I prefer diamond kosher salt in the big box) works great on slick ice patches. Don’t salt the whole area just the spots with ice — you could easily run out of salt...
