I trust him, just fine. However, he has needs, too, namely 400K precinct captains across this country to fill out the Republican infrastructure, not to mention people in public office from the PTA on up at the State level. Precinct captains elect Party officials. This is key.
In California, I got emails asking people to run for elective offices that would otherwise be unopposed. We need to have people run for offices, too.
As for the civil service in DC, I've had an up-close and personal look at some of these people, and they have a nasty, nasty attitude toward us. All those assholes testifying in secret at the first Trump impeachment hearing, the ones with huge contempt for the President who also admitted they liked his policies? That is fucking typical of the hubris in DC. That's the constituency of Mitch McConnel, Ronna McDaniel and Mitt Romney.
