I'm nearing sixty, when I was in my early teens I realized a few things about corporate sports. I've never watched them since and I in no way patronize them.
Let me put it this way, if you patronize corporate sports you are not helping yourself, you are not helping your family, you are not helping your community and you are not sending the kind of message that needs to be sent. Corporate sports have nothing to do with you or your interests.
Look at them as though they are the tech oligarchs. That might help put them in the proper context.
