Howdy Pedes. Went to a rodeo on Saturday. Have 3 inches of snow on the ground. No power . Using my skills to make coffee, tethering my computer. So what do I do. Come here to get warm by feeling the love....Texas grid is as they say down..Need help - thoughts on best generators?

Woke up this morning. Lights are off. No problem Have enough flash lights to light up the area. Candles for light and some radiant heat...it can be done... Grill for cooking...portable hand held solar power battery fully charged for phone and computer. Tethering is my friend...Not going to get caught short again...thoughts on a good generator..to support the .stove, frig, and Heat/AC unit..everything else we can improvise...

If money is no object, a Honda propane model. Or gas model but propane can be easier to deal with.

For small stuff, cheap, champions or predators from harbor freight. Do the research carefully on how much you need in terms of capacity. Start up load and running load matter. And in this case cheapest option is generally harbor freight and buy the warranty.
