No conservative ever proposed the term trickle down economics. That phrase is nothing more than a brainwashing tool that the left came up with to put a negative spin on how all economic systems behave. Do they really not think that we can come up with a similar spin for socialism/communism? They've got all of the same negative things that capitalism has (inequality), only with those systems nothing ever trickles down. Everyone is equally poor, or there's a tiny elite class and then a bunch of underlings begging for scraps.
