I really wish a lot of places would address cost of living issues before inflating wages especially if it's not necessary. Rent can easily go up if landlords know it can be afforded across the board.
Just like professors in college think their class is the only one handing out homework, a lot of bill sources act like they are the sole bill source. Rent, utilities, car insurance, health insurance, any debt all pipe up quick. If getting a better job isn't an option(cause all the jobs got forced over seas), then maybe see why rent is so high. Is it excess taxes? Why not trim back that government budget so you don't need so much taxation. Surely there's plenty to curl back. Let's start with government salaries. Wy should a congress person make so much a year when their constituents might not even be able to afford a 500 sq. ft box?
