Looking at Australia is a great idea and it's really important to note that they have strict immigration and employment laws - no rubber stamping H1 type work visas, no large illegal 'migrant' work force.
They do that now because they are already a pure socialist state. They have so little geopolitical power now due to China that AU is truely fucked. Their people don't even understand the term "small government"
