I should explain... I posted a little sociology experiment of sorts this morning. It should have been readily apparent that it should have been dismissed (or at least dismissible), and yet it got voted up waaaaay too much (Note: I added the "Shitpost" flair after it ran its course). To many pedes' credit, it was logically demolished, as it should have been, but I'm asking everyone to do something:
- if it confirms your biases a little too much...
- If it sounds a wee bit too coincidental...
- If it starts jumping all over the map, or taking massive leaps to conclusions...
- If it makes folks you love look too good or folks you hate look too bad... ...then either look into it independently, (if interested and you have time) demand proof (if time is an issue), call it out as complete bullshit, or skip it and move on. Please. This is the Internet, and unlike the 1995 Internet, I shouldn't have to tell folks to stop believing weird bullshit. Thanks in advance.

Don't blame them. Conspiracy "theories" is all people have left when they're being told nothing but lies for almost a decade straight if not longer. Nobody knows anything, and it appears the US has been defeated by China without having to fire a single shot, yet the military isn't saying a fucking word about it.
