Anyone else think another stimulus check might not come at all? It seems to me the House is intentionally pushing bills that are unlikely to pass because they're trying to cram a bunch of other stuff in. Then, they'll blame republicans. Truth: All they need to do is put up a one-time-check bill.

And this isn't even about whether you agree with the need for stimulus or not. It's just the politics of it. Watch how many people will scream "republicans wouldn't pass a stimulus check." In reality, the truth will be "republicans wouldn't pass $15 minimum wage" or "republicans wouldn't pass blanket student loan forgiveness" or "republicans wouldn't pass UBI masquerading as a tax credit."

At this point, watching what's happening, I'm going to be really surprised if there is another stimulus checks. The swamp and especially dems don't care about the people. They just always want to have someone else to blame for never getting anything done. That's their MO politically.

They definitely all work together in the larger sense . Where they can though, they do jockey for power amongst each other.
