Even before the virus, no plan to put sick people anywhere near nursing homes should be on the table. They have weak immune systems. Whoever created this plan should be charged with a crime for not consulting medical experts. It looks like they made it up basing it off of empty beds with no regard for the elderly.
I work with a New Yorker. I think he's pro-America and not a leftist. But he is annoying. It's the whole "I'm a New Yorker, now listen while I talk obnoxiously loud with my stupid accent."
I am a displaced New Yorker and I literally have to actively stop myself from being THAT. I catch myself almost doing it every now and again I do admit.
