Mozilla banning the Gab extension over a year ago was the canary in the coal mine I dropped them like a rock at that point after 15 years of promoting mozilla with my users. Been using Brave ever since.

Those "values" of course explicitly being to control what people are allowed to see, hear, and say (which is miraculously not in conflict with their other alleged principles of ensuring privacy and freedom.) You can consume whatever information you want, as long as it's been officially verified as advancing the common good.
