Precisely. They are not voted into position for leadership, that's our job. They're representatives of our leadership. Amazing how quickly things fell back to royalty after shedding blood to get away from it.

What's amazing is that so many seemingly intelligent people can't grok that it's a natural state of being and anything other than a strict hierarchy needs a lot of massaging and effort to maintain.

I stopped that a while ago. "Officials" is a better description I think. They aren't my fucking "Leader". They sure tf don't "Represent" me. Nothing more than a political "Official".

Our Civil Servants have ONE job. They are to do the shit that they said on the campaign trail, which is what caused the majority to vote for them. That is the ONLY thing they are supposed to do.

"What about the Minority?!" Okay, I hear you. Know what about the Minority? They get to continue to profit from the correct ideas of the Majority, as we tolerate their bullshit. OR, they can raise awareness of their causes, and... with dialogue as the system was designed... change minds and become the Majority.

"Our Democracy!!!!" does not exist, and even if it DID, it does not mean "we all forgo what we want to take care of the small group of whiny babies."

I know when I speak of the leaders in Senate, I'm not talking about my leader, but those who take charge in the Senate.
