Do we have an impact, sure, it would be ignorant to think we don’t, but that impact is about less than a half of a percent. The sun and other cosmic forces are largely to blame. And we can do NOTHING about it, except to continue to evolve and adapt.
I remembering reading some garbage yahoo article 15 years ago. The basic premise was that it would cost a fraction of the dollars to prepare for global warming that to try and reverse it. All about the money!
South Florida was uninhabitable a hundred years ago. Thanks to climate change, albeit localized, I made a home here. It’s got insulation, central air, and windows and a roof that can withstand hurricanes. Go climate change.
I wish I would have saved an article I read 10-15 years ago from a professor at OU. He had a fantastic rundown about the celestial warming; that the surface temperature of Mars increased at the same exact rate as Earth during the year.
