Don't need it much here in southern NM, but I sure am glad I installed it. Not to mention the amount of clothes worn by the wifey is inversely proportional to the temp in the house. Ceiling fans and forced air circulate it a bit but the bedrooms are still chilly. It's way to F'n hot for me but the wife is a goddamn reptile and loves it. Most of my woodpile is mesquite. Great to cook on but holy chit does it burn hot in a stove.
