There is a way back. The crudest woman can put on a loose-ish, long-ish long sleeved blouse, wash her face, put a clip in her hair, and put on a mild nailpolish shade and lose the blue nailpolish.
Tattoos, that's harder, but there are indeed makeups that will cover anything and look good.
If your hair is too bright, ask the colorist to put a darker shade over it and you will be fine. If that's complicated, there are wigs.
Men do not usually like red nails; they look bloody. Men do like some animation in the face but they don't want to see a ton of obvious makeup. Frankly it's scary, and life is dangerous enough for them.
They also don't like huge earrings. A small stud will be better.
That said, they do like black clothes. But not black from head to toe.
Do not frighten them. If they don't mind being scared, it's you who should be scared.
They are beyond sick of blue hair. And any other non-natural color.
