Title. Going to be buying a new truck or car soon and after reading on here that jeep sold their souls to China I am just pissed and don't know what to get..
I also heard ford is moving all their production for mustangs into China? Its like every vehicle i considered gave me a middle finger and spit in my face -_-
Tesla?
I dont mind tesla, It was on my list, just pretty limited to trucks if I wanted to go that route.. live in florida though so I got a lot of places to take a tesla.
Buy Japanese. They employ Americans at American factories.
Japanese brands also manufacture their cars in China for global market. There's no reason to discriminate American brands for doing this. Good luck finding a brand not doing business with world largest manufacture and car market.
General Motors and Ford make good cars in America for Americans.
Except my ford. 2013 escape. Burns oil, and radiator fluid via a crack in the head between the 2nd and 3rd cylinder that ford has stated "does not affect performance", also only gets 20 miles to the gallon when advertised a 32 mpg. Don't think I will be buying another ford.
Most of the cars you buy in the US is made in the US. Subaru, Toyota, Ford, GM mostly make their cars here for local sale. They manufacture in China for global market not American market.
Get an F150. Ford truck division is American. Oddly enough, Nissan trucks are made in Mississippi and Toyota trucks in Indiana.

People advertising that some cars are built here arent getting it. Sure. Some of it stays in the u.s. but the rest of that money is going to Japan or China and to the banks if you get a loan.
