Had a sweet .300 Win Mag. Used to nail targets at 1000'. I miss the ole' girl. Had a smith work the trigger for a crisp breaking 3# pull. Bye girl! <sniff> So sorry for your losses, my friend. So sorry for all our losses, here. Fucking boats!

Yeah buddy, sorry for your loss too. Sad times... boats are the worst and I can’t afford to replace anything... been sharpening some wicked sticks lately tho.

My welder and forge has been working overtime. Down to spears, swords and knives now. <sob> We need boat legislation. We need to get serious about making boats great again! lol

Hahaha! Yeah something off with these boats lately. But dang, maybe all this stick carving is just a precursor to making metal sharp! “Come on brain... you got this!!!!”

I have the feeling that if we all work together, anything is possible. By the way, sheet metal work is pretty easy for the home workshop. Did you know that many "a salt fishing rods" were made from sheet metal with easy to buy "reels" and "Tackle"? But don't put them on a boat. The fucking thing will just go tits up and all that work will be lost.
