Not trying to be reductionist, but rather efficient. I lot of this MAGA stuff is spoken of in shorthand ("build the wall," "drain the swamp," "no needless foreign wars," "America first," etc.) which got me to thinking: is it possible to condense it all into easily explained policy chunks that can simply be partially rebranded?

So instead of "build the wall" it could be "end illegal immigration" as a core principle. Lower down on the list maybe there is the issue of limiting legal immigration in some areas, but we all agree for the most part that ending illegal immigration is the more core position.

What are your top 3 or 4?

Only citizens can vote

All elected representatives need to have the amount of time they are in position limited

The free press needs to become unbiased and provide factual information so an informed populace can best thrive

So let's say policy wise:

  1. voter security/voter ID laws
  2. term limits
  3. tighter libel/slander laws? only other option would be to attempt to reinstate the "fairness doctrine" FCC policies of the 60s and 70s which probably wouldn't work even if constitutional.

Smith-Mundt needs to be removed. If media can lie to the public, or even spin a story a certain way, it will always be purchased to sway public opinion
