Wind will never be self sufficient because it will never return as much power as it takes to build them. Wind should only be used for small scale off grid situations. It is not suited for large scale use like they want you to think. The only thing that large scale wind farms do is fill politicians pockets with money.

Wind is limited by battery storage. Battery technology is constantly improving.
That's why Texas does wind so well (in normal conditions), we built the infrastructure to transfer the power directly to our grid.
