I don't ignore polls you just need to take them with a pound of salt. Most respected pollsters will tell you the numbers don't matter, but the trends do. CNN could be polling Trump at 12% but if he goes to 30% next week that's interesting.

That's the same logic some people use with the covid numbers. We know they're not real, but they're trending down so that's good.
