Since this crazy winter storm power has been out. The water has been off. Our cell phone service has been very very limited. Even the wifi has been on vacation..... I can understand the power but everything being off apears weird. None of this seems to be on the news. Anyone know WTF is going on?

None of your shit is winterized so it's all freezing. Power plants, water pipes, etc. And obviously wifi isn't going to work without electricity.

All the states that have real winters are laughing at us. They still wear shorts in this kind of weather.

As someone from a state with real winters, I can confirm.

Once saw a man in a tshirt and Jean shorts in these conditions a few years back. He chuckled and said being from North Dakota, the temperature was nice.

Sounds like Texas is being punished. Sounds stupid but y’all have some big balls over there and it may not be sitting well with the new FakeHouse I mean new Whitehouse. Let’s see if anything happens in Florida cuz they are another state that has balls lately. If so then we definitely need to question some shit.

I really hope. But I know aliens would just fly by our planet.

... and roll up their windows and lock their doors while doing so.

That's what happens when Liberals poor in from California and bring their wind turbines and solar panels with them.

This happened in Washington state in January. A wind storm wiped out our power and Internet (even cell phones and data). I could understand the power going out but cell coverage? Hmm 🤔

How do you think cell towers are supposed to work without electricity?

Magic air n stuff. So used to everything working it’s become expected... everything runs on electricity— maybe we will start to give a shit and demand nuclear power plants.

Just one small part of their genocide movement.

Except for the northernmost panhandle, Texas cities and towns weren't set up for this kind of cold. Water lines aren't buried deep enough. Natural gas and LP flow slow in the cold and those tanks and meters are above ground. Wind turbines freeze and then ice builds up on the blades, causing massive damage... and those blades are basically replace only, no repair. Ice pulls down powerlines.

Cell towers need electricity too. They have backup generators, but a lot of folks are finding they can't get the gennies to turn over because the fuel is too cold.... because the gennies are in uninsulated buildings or just out in the open. Ever tried to start an older diesel truck when it's 0 out? There's a reason those older pickups had a little power plug hanging down, was to warm things up before you tried to start it in the cold.

Tornados and hurricanes and 115F for weeks we can handle, but sub zero temps with ice storms throw us for a loop same as 115F kills off people in Canada.

Got a fren that lives in Texas with her family and I sent her this post. She says, yes, she can absolutely confirm what you’re talking about.

Do you know how things work?

Bozhi 5 points ago +5 / -0

We had that happen here in the Pacific NW a few months ago. Even the cell towers were out. It's traumatizing!

Biden is punishing Texas for voting for Trump by ushering in an era with his Chinese overlords, where Americans must suffer as reperations for our country's success.

all runs on power bro - maybe create a new technology that makes green energy while you are stuck at home... like AOC says

The entire freaking populace on the continent chain south of the US is crossing into Texas right now. Central and South America are completely empty. 312 million new "citizens" Grabby Joe is gonna EO in.

Thankfully not

Its trumps fault. But anyhow, this is highly orchestrated. Like covid. Im not sure what the reason is, maybe so they can justify doubling the solar and windmill numbers. Biden will dole out trillions to make believe companies like obongo did with the solyndra farce.

Teach them the law of unintended consequences, you should all by millions of generators and run them on gas.

Nothing is orchestrated. Weather is unpredictable. Record level low temps will have an effect like this so rationing is expected when there's not backup to 'green' energy.

Windmills and solar panels don't work.

This is what happens with bad winter storms. It's fairly routine in other parts of the country, happens every few years.

As an operator of water plants here in Texas, the water issue is multi layered. We don't really prepare for this cold of weather for this period of time so lots of things freeze up, also smaller water systems are dealing with power outages the same way residents are. Smaller systems are not required to have generator power. Once the plant loses power it can't keep water moving and then things really freeze up.
