everybody knows that moving off of the major social media platforms and on to some tiny website it was created to be a conservative safe space is detrimental to the cause and only serves as a form of censorship because it limits your reach..
the fact that the establishment GOP would rather convince its base to boycott the internet and voluntarily silenced themselves in some misguided "protest"" rather than simply creating legislation to prevent censorship in the first place says that people like Mitch McConnell and mitt Romney and other Democrats don't actually believe what they're saying. they have to say it and they have to disagree with Democrats to win election in red States but deep down they actually agree with Democrats and they don't want their base causing any trouble either..
that's why Mitch McConnell was so horrified when millions of peaceful protesters marched on the capital on January 6th.. even after months of helping to promote the election fraud narrative..

The reason is that I've actually been on the Internet before even HTML existed. I saw things in the early days that clued me in to the idea that the social media platforms would become a cancer and vector for making people vulnerable in several important ways.

I've talked to multiple people that have worked as advisors for Republican Senators and congressional candidates and they tell me that they get frustrated because these people are hired on as experts in public relations and experts in campaigning and the old dinosaur GOP and dumb conservatives just don't listen to this advice that they're given..
