You don't have to comply. Newsflash: most of UK and Australia DIDN'T hand in their guns. Those guns are still buried in people's backyards and guns are a distant whisper in rural and high society circles. It just has to pass. Have you seen many (any) gun control laws get rolled back? No, you haven't. The only one that was really rolled back was the AWB and that had a sunset clause that triggered it wasn't even rolled back.
