what if we put solar panels on the blades, tower and foundation. and can we shoot fire out of it some how for zero carbon fooprint, that would look cool at night and make more green jobs and tourists
The turbines are intentionally inefficient to sabotage American production and funnel money away from our energy industries. You actually could have windmills help powering a lot of things, ocean oil rigs for example, but even at their best they'll never run entire cities. Monolithism is how cavemen think.
Indeed. This is why it's very tiresome to read both sides of the green energy/climate change "debate." Wind and solar can be useful in the proper applications. 99% of those who speak on this topic have no idea what they're talking about.
If you think about the powers that be, globalism, bankers, and what have you vs the people as "centralization vs decentralization" then the choices made by bad faith actors and other such "how do you do fellow conservatives" makes much more sense.
Windmills and solar panels are made using fossil fuels. They also destroy forests and desert habitats to put them up, to only last 20 years and then be stuck there because it’s too expensive to remove them.
That's far more steel than for one single water tower, but the water tower will work for 50-100 years and can supply 100k-200k households, while the wind turbine which is twice as big can only supply about 200 households, and only during wind and certain temperatures.
It's a damn waste of natural resources, not just the steel but there's a massive concrete foot on each windmill as well. Concrete that could have been used for other stuff like bridges or commie blocks (prisons for commies).
Great idea BUT the coal used to make steel and the coal burned for electricity are different coals.
mining iron ore is very green too.
Shhh, you'll ruin their fantasy world where mining and processing don't exist and things are magically created.

Put some power strips on the end and plug each of them into themselves. Infinite energy!

Build waste to energy plants. Return to recycling only metals and glass.

can we make these out of woven reeds? like a group of nuns could weave a ton

They also need oil to keep them working. What happens when there's no petroleum
I am sure we can just replace that with soy oil
