I'm sadly sceptical because I've had the exact convos w my "blue no matter who" wife. Most recent was this past weekend when I showed her the existing number of pipelines in the US, the carbon footprint of transporting oil from the middle east to the US, the US environmental laws vs those in the middle east, the $ the indigenous tribes were set to earn from the keystone, the loss of US jobs, and the obvious increase in gas prices the past couple weeks. She cried.... She did not admit that xiden was a bad choice. She's still stuck w her childish assumption that pipelines are bad because racism and ducks, or some shit. She eventually agreed that it's be better to harvest the inevitable energy where we could control environment damage and profit from it, but refused to say that xiden is wrong.
