I know no women like the ones you describe, I do know a few single mothers in their thirties and forties who thought they were in love once. I feel sorry for them, their lives really didn't turn out the way they wanted, but they have good paying jobs to fend for themselves and their kids. Most careers won't go very far without a degree.

One of them is a big-time christian (even told me I should "find someone"), married young to another christian, and divorced due to domestic abuse (ER visits) after the birth of two kids. She went back to school to get a better job to support them later, when it was far more difficult. Should she get your special blessing to go to school? Another christian couple married too soon and the wife inflicted a lot of self-defense emotional damage in the relationship before she realized she had issues she should have dealt with before marrying anyone. Is she a whore because of her untreated childhood PTSD? Marrying young is not for everyone. Your statistics didn't help these people, they needed practical solutions. Lumping them in with cheaters and other sleazy people is a pretty lame explanation. Sounds like you've had a rough time.
