Yeah was thinking this could be Islamic propaganda. I remember a few years back some Muslim writer was trying to convince people that letting dogs lick your face can result in a terrifying flesh eating disease because one dog happened to pass it on this way and that turned out to be fake. Never mind that you are far more likely to contract something from exchanging saliva with another human. I find it ironic that a cult like religion of death and oppression could find dogs offensive. It’s like Ted bundy being disgusted by some ones eating habits. If their prophet jumped off a cliff they would do the same.
Not only are they great guardians against sneaky people, dogs (and all animals) are very sensitive to body language, smell, and a person's 'aura.'
Every Thanksgiving we have a whole bunch of people and dogs. These dogs are well socialized and love everyone! One year the democrat bit of the family shows up. All dogs immediately put up their hackles and start barking and growling. It takes quite a while for them to calm down, but they never go near those people.
