I'm not a big Chaffetz fan and understand your position well, but can't a case also be made that even if Chaffetz was a straight shooter, establishment RINO's would have blocked any real steps to be taken about Benghazi?
Sure but, why did he resign his seat when things got too hot? Leaders don't step down or step back, sheep do. He backed down when we needed strong leaders the most.
That's a good question that I don't have the answer to. I don't know whether to trust Chaffetz or not. I'm inclined to assume all politicians are in on the game because if they had integrity they'd call it out. Not many do that (which is why we're loving this current iteration of Matt Gaetz), and Chaffetz certainly hasn't.
I'm all for MAGA nation deciding to throw all but a few based Congress Critters out and let's start anew with a batch of regular citizens who share our morals.
They DID make criminal referrals. I saw them. You guys keep saying "all bark no bite" but clearly you failed civics. The legislative branch of government--congress--has no law enforcement ability whatsoever, beyond 'contempt of congress' and impeachment proceedings,
