Communist China isn't stupid.
I read some where they're going towards hydrogen for transportation.
That way if someone attacks your electric grid you can still get to places.

Correct. The US Gov't wants ELECTRIC Vehicles for their fleet now. 600,000+ Vehicles. Imagine China laughing when they kill the grids and the USA Can no longer charge their vehicles

Anyone who supports all electric vehicle is a traitor to this country. Now if only the FBI got electric cars I could go for that.

Wish I had an electric snow blower right now. Every time I need the damn gas one it doesn't work.

Electric is for things you infrequently use not for cars!

Yes,
but if you do the proper maintainence including fuel stabilizer and use 100% gasoline (no ethanol), a lot of those problems go away.
Professional lawn mowing guys use 100% gasoline.

Where do you even find 100% gasoline. Best I've found is 10% ethanol.

Lucky you.
Found out a web site that lists tons of places to get 100% gasoline all over the U.S.A.:

I heard professional mowers use it, at least in New York State. You have to hunt for it. Best bet is to call some mowers and ask them.

Really promotes the use of electric if it's that difficult.

I can make a windmill from scrap and power my mower. If I can't find the right gas for a gas mower I'm screwed.

To be fair lithium is one of the most common elements in the Earth's crust. It can easily be replaced. It just so happe s manufacturing is there so might as well mine it there too and not pay shipping.
