Why the fuck are all these environmental leftists so against the CLEANEST more EFFICENT way of producing power. Nuclear energy and fracking in the US is the best way to reduce energy costs and become energy independent. If someone tells you they are for wind and solar ask if they are for Nuclear, if they say no they really do not give a single fuck about the environment. (which we already know).

Nuclear is actually really hard and conservatives are half the reason. I've been close to failed nuclear plants opening before. Every single time what happens is that conservative NIMBYs aka Not In My BackYard go to their local politicians and demand more safety regulations because they think nuclear is unsafe. By the time all the NIMBYs have had their say an exercised their private property rights, the cost of the nuclear project is no longer valuable.
I agree, nuclear is the way but conservatives as actually as much in the way as liberals.
