If the students make more money, the school will get a cut when they increase in tuition.

No one on campus so they aren't making money from vending machines, from shitty cafeteria food, no one using the labs, no one buying over priced shit in the bookstore. They gotta make it up some how, so jacking up tuition is the only way.
