I don’t think they’re broken, it’s cold, ice and no sun. They run to a battery which I’m sure are cold too. I’m on a hilltop and we got a lot of snow and the drifts pilled up on the top around everything. Cleaned this morning but nothing yet. I think all will go back when it warms up.
Ahh, yeah ice and snow will definitely prevent a charge. that's why I don't understand why people put them on top of the roofs. It would be really hard to clean them if they're up there. If the batteries are kept in a super cold area that might prevent a charge as well but solar panels actually are more efficient in colder weather.
Mine aren’t working.
Do you know why? From what I understand they last quite a while.
