Secession would lead to a focus on oil, gas, and nuclear as it's energy sources. Being a part of the USA is a huge detriment because it is anti-nuke and anti-oil.
Some Texans have now payed with their lives, but at least they have green energy : )

TNM is likely a grift, but it's a start. There has to be some way out of a union when citizens are dying because of it.
Texas doing Green New Deal is cucked as hell & very unlike Texas
We never were doing GND. Texas is and was a powerhouse state. We exported all over the country. We were #3 oil and gas producer in the world. However, since a bunch of pipelines were shut down and we aren't allowed/able to run all our power plants at full capacity or at all, wind energy under Biden somehow accounted for 20% of our power. You see on top of being a huge oil and gas state, we also lead the way in clean energy too. Not because someone told us to, but because we could do that AND use fossil fuels because both are great with certain context. Texas is a red state. Even still, we are not exempt from the damages poor policy can cause.
