I agree there is a lot more going on here than just failed turbines. Areas that are not used to freezing weather tend to not be prepared for freezing weather. Not just residential homes, but core parts of the energy grid itself and infrastructure. People tease the preppers, but it pays to prepare. Most people don't prepare, myself included.

They have always lied when it suited them. They simply cannot tell the truth at all anymore.
They decided to roll off residential areas while large commercial properties not being used continued to receive electricity.
That is the real scandal here.
