What damage does placing two pipe bombs do? It seems to me that right wing extremists are not focused on property damage. Maybe some were pissed and RNC and DNC but I didn’t hear or see anything online which would have indicated ANYONE on the right wanted to terrorize either organization.
It works to Antifa’s disadvantage that the militant right may even take a contrarian stance to their tactics. Setting off an IED at the headquarters of either organization sounds like weather underground, antifa type business.
The bombs themselves had 1 hour timers on them, not trip wires. They were placed on the night of January 5th and found on January 6th, suggesting that they were never activated. Even if they were activated, there's no chance anyone would have been walking by at the exact moment they detonated, and it's not like a 1lb pipe bomb could damage the building.
It was either a distraction or some absolute retard, not something meant to actually harm anyone/anything.
