There's no point in trying to reason with the other side. They live in their own bubble world, making their self righteousness makes them utterly insufferable. Why not just abandon a ship that is clearly sinking, and sinking fast?

I have the occasional escapist daydream of wanting to flee to a shithole in South East Asia and live out the rest of my days meekly and quietly, but peacefully in meditation.
