If you wait until they show up at your door before you exercise your 2A, it's already too late. If you protect your gun, your gun will protect you. What are you doing to protect your gun?
Not near enough people here gets this.
It's not just here on an internet forum, it is nation wide. There are people who think guns are just for hunting or sport or a niche item.
We have more right to have a gun than to drive to a burger joint. I don't know what the answer is. I was taken back when there was almost no pushback when states prevented people from going to church this past year. People are so quick to just give up.
Sadly my guns are at the bottom of a lake. I failed to protect them :(.

If a registration comes out I hope all the mine owners inform the ATF that their grandfathers buried a bunch of guns that they'd love to register but are unable to access them. But the ATF is welcome to get those permits, dig that mine up, dig up those future ponds, etc to look for them and we'll be happy to get them registered once located.
We'll be happy to retrieve those Serial numbers just as soon as we can rescue our grandfathers and fathers totally legal gun caches.
If it is ever a legal requirement, only register the ones your willing to surrender. (nothing currently illegal about this comment. 2/17/2021)
The second amendment is for the security of a free state. Combating a tyrannical government does ensure a free state, but so does killing criminals. The gun is for more than just overthrowing corrupt politicians.
Cultivate a mentality of non-compliance. This is something conservatives are really, really bad at. We're naturally people who prefer order, so obeying the law makes sense.
That's why it's important that people start to act, not just think, in a way that is non-compliant. Non-compliance is like a muscle, if you don't use it, it gets weak. Find little ways to push yourself, every day, to not follow the rules and/or laws.
Don't wear the mask. Park in the pregnant parking space. Put gasoline in a non-approved container. Claim a credit on your taxes you aren't entitled to. Refuse to fill out the required form. Provoke confrontation. Be a bit of an asshole. Being non-compliant necessarily means you cannot be a nice guy/gal. A non-compliant person is an anti-social force, there's no way around that.
If you won't do these or similar things, then you should stop kidding yourself. You're going to let them take your guns.

DONT GIVE THEM UP...once they have them you're dead. Its unfortunate but all feelings aside...if war is what they want its gonna happen and lives are gonna be post maybe yours too...but to live in a world like this is not worth it under a dictatorship.
