Predicting the weather is a very hit or miss science. The weather report won't be accurate unless it's the day of or night before max.

No one can accurately predict the temperature with any sort of accuracy a month out.

There are a few meteorologists that use the Sun and Solar cycle in their weather forecast. They tend to be much more accurate, even out a ways.

Exactly. I've been a weather enthusiast for twelve years and the Climate Prediction Center is usually close or on point with their monthly forecasts, like the one shown above. However, everyone missed February. The Artic Oscillation went haywire and the models missed it big time. The CPC is not trying to gaslight the public; they make genuine forecasts from which all other media forecasts originate. Anyone wanting to file a complaint with them should try doing a better job first.

Here on the Oregon coast they often get it wrong even a day out.
