If this passes, good luck trying to enforce this on millions of noncompliants, and where each gun confiscation visit at a home could end up in a shootout scenario.

They’ll just freeze your assets. No credit card, no ATM access. Freeze bank accounts, investments, all with your SSN.

Then they can shut off your utilities.

Until you put the weapons in a box and take them to your local police.

Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

I think it's a question of government manpower availability.

Let's say this goes into effect. A fraction of citizens actually follow through and jump through all the hoops of this bs. Govt realizes that most American's aren't following the new rules and so they begin the 'door to door' part of this operation (which will probably involve a lot of govt heads at computers compiling data on all us overnight outlaws). Well, they're going to need a LOT of personnel to do that.

You might very well be right, but I just don't see millions of people being unpersoned like that.
