First off, he says people would have to leave their families behind, defenseless. This has been an age-old problem for centuries, and yet people figured out how to overcome that obstacle. I'm sure we haven't lost the ability to figure that out now.
He's saying there aren't enough weapons against the most sophisticated military in the world, no communications.....You mean, like the backwards terrorists in Afghanistan who kicked the ass out of the US and Russian militaries?
Getting somebody to join an Internet page or somebody fleeing death or imprisonment aren't exactly the same things...
That was obviously written by somebody who has no clue about warfare....a "financial analyst." Sure, okay.

I'm with you on the families and comms. The message I got from it was that most people are too fat and lazy to fight, and I tend to agree with that.
