I think it's more gullible than forgiving. They still don't forgive me personally for slavery and I had nothing whatsoever to do with it. They claim I'm born racist. Scuff someone's Jordan's and get shot along with innocent bystanders and hour later. They are not a forgiving people but they are gullible and equate pain with effectiveness. For example, marketers of cold medicines know that black people with think it is not working unless it burns or tastes nasty or something like that. Sort of like how we all think a vacuum cleaner isn't working if it isn't loud. They are gullible and have pre-dispositions which is why they behave as they do. It has nothing at all with being forgiving.
