My daughter asked me to stop sending her proof that the coof is fake news. I said ok because I love her and now feel like I've been contributing to her stress levels.
If I was a smidge more callous I would have sent her this...
"No. You're in your mid twenties and have judged me by your ignorance.
Nothing I've shown you was a lie. Nothing.
Yet you choose self imposed ignorance, comfort, over reality.
This country is at war. You are living in a failing society that is being controlled through media, education and chemical manipulation. "
I wish I could send her this but I now know she would just check out mentally in the first few sentences.
I miss you, kiddo.

This is a really unpopular opinion, but there is (some) responsibility that has to be taken from a lot of parents on how their children turn out. I'm not pointing this at you OP or anyone here in general, but it is been eroding for a long time now.
Raising your children with TV, drinking/abusing alcohol, not talking about these things at the dinner table when young, allowing a spouse to always get their way or walk over you, no respect between parents, sweeping problems under the carpet and ignoring the, allowing daycares and schools to raise children instead of that being supplemental and never challenging other viewpoints.
All of these things are very small issues that don't seem like they have consequences in the moment but make a large impact when compounded. Liberalism doesn't just grab anyone, it creeps in and compounds over years and years.
For any new parents, keep this in mind. Stay vigilant. Stay involved in your kids life and teach them how to navigate the world instead of teaching them to sweep things under the rug that they don't like. (This manifests later on when they say "I don't want to talk about this" or "please stop bringing this up." They are wanting to postpone looking for the truth in their actions.)
I take 100% responsibility for her position. But thank you for allowing me an out.
Not that unpopular an opinion. Prob not around here anyway
