My daughter asked me to stop sending her proof that the coof is fake news. I said ok because I love her and now feel like I've been contributing to her stress levels.

If I was a smidge more callous I would have sent her this...

"No. You're in your mid twenties and have judged me by your ignorance.

Nothing I've shown you was a lie. Nothing.

Yet you choose self imposed ignorance, comfort, over reality.

This country is at war. You are living in a failing society that is being controlled through media, education and chemical manipulation. "

I wish I could send her this but I now know she would just check out mentally in the first few sentences.

I miss you, kiddo.

No. She's been a very successful ya. Her and her husband(a man I respect for the way he treats her but not for being a man) have rocked life, so far. No kids, though. Which was my wish all along. I have an entire chest of toys I have collected in the hopes that 1 day I'd be a grandfather.

Ask around at churches, etc. about after school tutoring or Big Brother type programs. There's a lot of children out there that could use your help.

I lost my job on January 31st and subsequently, my house by February 28th, since I was renting from the company.

This is a good idea. The town I'm moving to is in the middle of nowhere. Kids in this town could probably use a direction. Once I'm established, it's my intention to explore this idea.

The middle of nowhere is the best place to be right now.

Unless you are hoping to meet a woman.

Maybe consider fostering? In their state it wouldn’t be good for them to raise a child anyway. You seem to have a good heart.

I'm not financially capable of fostering. Always wanted to but, I don't see a middle aged single white male being awarded a child from the state.

Lol good point. You need to work on building yourself up anyway. It's difficult to help others if you aren't in a good spot fren. Hang in there.

Understood, and really...sorry about the situation you are in. If you can find some like-minded group to join and hobby with.

2 more weeks before I'll be settled in the new town. I'll start looking then.
