My daughter asked me to stop sending her proof that the coof is fake news. I said ok because I love her and now feel like I've been contributing to her stress levels.
If I was a smidge more callous I would have sent her this...
"No. You're in your mid twenties and have judged me by your ignorance.
Nothing I've shown you was a lie. Nothing.
Yet you choose self imposed ignorance, comfort, over reality.
This country is at war. You are living in a failing society that is being controlled through media, education and chemical manipulation. "
I wish I could send her this but I now know she would just check out mentally in the first few sentences.
I miss you, kiddo.

Firstly, thanks.
I already do not discuss politics with my children. This discussion was about the covid lies.
And the rest of what you have to say? I agree. But you can't see someone in person, my preferred method of conversing, if they believe sitting in a room with you wearing 2 masks means she's gonna die.
Simple questions like "hey kiddo, did you know that the population of Washington is around 3.2 million and that only 3000 or so people have died from covid?" is not me provoking anything but math.
She's a big girl. She can handle truth. Or at least I thought.

Soon enough she will be vaccinated and feel safe enough to be in the same room with you.
Yeah that's my mom's reaction when I tell her to stop spending time on arguing politics with our Leftist extended family members. Not actually hearing my message, but saying "it looks so obvious to me that I'm right, why can't they just understand..."
Family is sacred, they're not some random anons to debate on the Internet. If you don't choose being NICE over being RIGHT, you risk ending up all alone in your Tower of Righteousness, arguing with the wall about politics.
