Because neither the media nor the government would support that. There are some state officials that people here really like, but ask yourself if they would be willing to tell DAs to drop charges against MAGA people for violent crime (not random arson obviously as we aren't trying to destroy the country). Ask if they would be willing to set up bail funds. Ask if they would be telling cops not to arrest anyone.

I think a lot of the time you'll find the answer is still no, even if they are "on our side". Even Trump campaigned as the law and order guy. You saw what happened when people did a little trespassing - he condemned it. We don't get to do what they do, at least not as easily. If we so much as step foot in a federal building under the pretense of any kind of violence (manufactured or otherwise) we risk being shot to death. Antifa can firebomb federal buildings and the worst they'll get is shot in the dick with a rubber bullet.
