I have always wondered, what are those things on the side on his head?

Cochlear Implants. I remember before he announced his hearing loss there were some odd misunderstandings on his show but it was incredible how he was able to continue his show for weeks and weeks without anyone knowing he had lost his hearing.

Thank you very much but Rush was truly the MVP.

I grew up listening to him starting back in the late 80’s. My younger sister and I one summer had to paint a building on the farm. And I loved Rush even as an early teenager. My sister did not feel the same. At 11 am (central time) I’d change the music station she was listening to to Rush. Then at the end of the show there was a station that lagged an hour. So I’d switch over and listen to the last hour again. Drove my sister bonkers listener to him for four hours! 🤣. Now in 40’s she too loves Rush. I believe if anyone would truly listen to him for just a week would also come to love him as well.

It’s a sad day but I know I will get to meet him in person when I too cross those pearly gates. God bless Rush.

Well said OP, and I’m glad your sister came around! 😁 Lord bless his family, and all of us after this loss of such an influential patriot.

He always stayed that he was on loan from G*d.

I know some people thought this saying was flippant but throughout the years listening to Rush he had a reverence for God and he truly was giving credit to the Man upstairs and his talent was loaned to him from God.

I agree also.
