LOL that place is gold. As someone whos been a Northerner, Southerner, WTFeverer its hilarious how under prepared/non resilient these asshats are. Yeah, sure, good people are suffering too. But squirreling away a couple bucks here and there and stockpiling emergency supplies is really just common sense.
Exactly. I'm sorry but I have zero sympathy for someone who is "starving" after 8 hours of the power going out. That's called just being plain stupid. Also keep in mind, that all last week the news was saying this storm was coming and to be prepared......

For a lot of folks power has been out for days. Then water. I expect Austin pussies to be unprepared but I'm a bit shocked by Houston people. I prepped like a hurricane was coming but even I didn't expect this to last so long. I ran out of booze.
I have a good friend who is in AA. He told me I should take an honest inventory of my life. I did just that. I have 15 years worth of ammo and 20 years worth of whiskey. Apparently, that's not what he meant.
