When I tuned into Rush's show this morning and his wife Kathryn came on first thing, I knew it couldn't be good. I can't imagine the strength required of her to get on there and give her beautiful sentiment. It was probably prerecorded, but still.

I feel sick. We're at a pivotal moment in our nation's history, and we really need Rush more than ever. Hoping someone can pick up the baton and fill the void.

Prayers for the Limbaugh family.

I hope someone like Mark Steyn or Buck Sexton takes over. Or continue rotating the hosts for a while. If they shoehorn a Hannity in there it will destroy everything that Rush worked so hard to build over the years. It really reminds me of when Johnny Carson died, and they had to pick the replacement.

Hannity is a fucking moron compared to Rush. Not even in the same league. Rush is impossible to replace.

Hannity isn't so bad, but I completely agree with you about Mark and Buck and Todd... Its been nice listening to more voices I agree with.

We do that. We all pick up the baton in our own way and we carry on in spite of the void, the loss, the grief. We take what we have learned from Rush and fight on.

Like when Andrew Breitbart died, I didn't even know who he was. But now his legacy is so strong how can I NOT know who he is. Of course I've 'audio-read' Righteous Indignation and the man was a genius ahead of his time. Another Rush stolen from us too soon...

As soon as Kathryn started speaking, I knew what was coming, and posted here one of so many posts noting Rush has passed.
