When I went on Twitter I would feel anger, rage and horror at what the left say about Trump. I can't even imagine what they are saying about Rush Limbaugh.
Even when I was a lefty (prior to 2016), I would not participate in groups like "Flush Rush," because I always believed in free speech and the best answer to speech you don't like is to counter it, not hide it.
The left are the very fascists they pretend to hate. The projection is so strong, I can't imagine how gaslit these people must be at this point.
I honestly don't know how I escaped. I was one of them. I thought Fox news viewers were morons (despite the fact they lead in ratings for 20 years until recently). I wouldn't date Republicans when I was single. I lived on DailyKos like I live here now. I was a precinct delegate for Obama in 2008 but didn't vote in 2012. I supported Bernie but when the DNC robbed him, I disavowed the Democrats, once and for all. So glad I did, better late than never.
People I once considered life long friends are dead to me now.

They don't even know it. That's the problem. No introspection. I have friends at work that are die hard lefties and they don't even realize that some of the stuff they believe in is evil.

I never had an account, but used to lurk quite a bit. Since they started the mass censorship after Jan 6th, I haven't been back.
